WeFeedUs uses what they call "green/blue" technology, meaning, in a nutshell, that they blend two ecosystems - water and dirt. The waste water from their fish production facility provides nutrients for the soil in the vegetable-growing facility, while the plants, in turn, help clean and filter the water for the fish.
We love WeFeedUs not only for the tasty produce, which we've been caught munching on sans dressing because it's just that good andclean tasting, but also because pretty much everything they do - from growing to teaching and staffing - is sustainable and community-focused planet-loving.
