Tapped In: A New Market & Pop-Up Limited Series at Dock Street South

Hump day just got a whole lot better!! We’re excited to share a new limited event series we’ll be hosting every Wednesday, beginning August 6th, from 5-8pm, featuring select Philly based icons. As a small, woman-owned business, we take pride in supporting other local talent and bringing our community together in special ways.

Each week, we’ll be highlighting and hosting a local business - varying from alcohol and food tastings to Philly sports gear and women’s accessories! Come by for a pint & our happy hour specials, and enjoy browsing and tasting the unique offerings of our vendors each week.

To kick it off on August 6th, we’ll be joined by Bluebird Distilling. Bluebird is “a true grain to glass distillery … our goal to always create our spirits and whiskies from scratch using the best local ingredients possible.” They currently have their own distillery in Phoenixville, PA, and also sell their spirits in two other Main Line locations. Try a specialty cocktail made with Bluebird’s spirits, grab a sample, and learn more about the Bluebird mission!

August 13th will feature Aaji’s, named after the founders’ grandmother and matriarch of the family, known for its coastal Indian Tomato Lonsa, a flavorful condiment used in many family recipes.

The following week, August 20th, we will be joined by Soom Foods known for their premium tahini and chocolate sesame spreads. Founded by three sisters, it was inspired by the flavors they discovered in the Mediterranean that they wanted to bring back to the states! Both companies aim to foster the importance of family and community, and the special role that food plays in bringing people together.

Following up, we have our friends over at Rival Bros coming by with some samples, merch, and more on August 27th. Founded by two longtime friends and Philly natives, Rival Bros features multiple house and seasonal blends, aiming to bring the best coffee drinking experience possible to the people of Philly & beyond.

Lastly, Sept 3 will feature Lisi Lerch Boutique, a woman-owned small jewelry and accessories boutique located on the Main Line and the Jersey Shore. Just in time for the Eagles home opener, Lisi Lerch will be selling Eagles and other Philly gear, as well as some small jewelry pieces and accessories, perfect for gifts or just a treat for yourself!
