This is new. And yet, it's also not new...
Dock Street started with just a couple styles of beer, one of which was our Bohemian Pilsner, a crisp and classic Czech-style Pilsner brewed with Saaz hops. It's made appearances a few times through the decades - including on tap at our brewpub - and now, for the first time in a looong time, it's back in bottles and cases. Just in time for summer. (And Memorial Day Weekend!)
Artist Sarah Russell's Work On Display At Dock Street May 16th thru July
Sarah Russell's vivid, energetic pieces will be on display at Dock Street Brewery in West Philly beginning Monday, May 16th through July 2016. These color-drenched works are the perfect harbinger for the endless, languorous, delicious summer that is to come.
Music In Familiar Spaces Comes to Dock Street With Bach & Beer
Dutch cellist Steuart Pincomb is bringing Bach to the brewery. For this name-your-own-price ticketed event, which is part of a year-long Music In Familiar Spaces program, three of Bach's Cello Suites will be paired with three of our craft brews. Enjoy a side of backstory along with your Bach and beers; Pincombe will offer up commentary after each suite, and we'll be adding some notes about the beers and the brewing process, as well.
Friends Don't Let Friends Vote Drumpf
Is it just us, or does this particular celebridential candidate always sound like he's had a few too many? In his (dis)honor, Dock Street Brewery is brewing up a series of quaffable reminders to exercise your suffrage, and just dump Drumpf.
Artist Clayton Thomas At Dock Street This March
Beginning in March, work by artist Clayton Thomas will be on display in the brewpub.
His genre-bending work (think: cubism, fauvism, and pop-art) will be unveiled on March 1st.
On Wednesday March 2 from 4-8pm, we'll host an opening celebration with the artist, so come by to scope out the artwork and toast Thomas with craft brews and wood-fired pizza.
