BOURBON BARREL AGED OLD ALE
9.5% 35 IBU - This traditional English style ale has a strong malt and caramel character. Flavors of dark dried fruit like fig and currant are complimented by aromas of tobacco and leather. Medium bodied with a pleasant residual sweetness, this beer pours a deep brown. Aged in a George Dickel Whiskey barrel for a year.
6.4% ABV 55 IBUs / Hazy and juicy with a toasted malt backbone. Amarillo, Apollo, Centennial, Citra, Simcoe and Willamette hops contribute a flavor and aroma of mango, tropical fruit and bright citrus. A reminder that if you're going to gamble, gamble every day.
ABV 10.8% 71 IBUs / Pours a deep, opaque, midnight-black, with a dense milk chocolate colored head. Brewed with a large percentage of roasted and chocolate malts, this huge beer is then aged on oak chips for added depth and complexity. Flavors are reminiscent of dark fruits, chocolate and sandalwood, making Prince Myshkin’s Stout perfect for dessert, or a dangerously smooth nightcap. "But who's Prince Myshkin," you may be wondering? He's the Idiot-Sauvant from Dostoyevsky's novel, The Idiot, who the Russian writer described as "entirely positive... with an absolutely beautiful nature".
SUMMER IN BERLIN
ABV 4%, 9 IBUs / Old dog, new tricks; a sour twist on our beloved Summer Session. Behold, our 'Philly Style' Berliner Weisse brewed with fresh lemongrass and fresh ginger. This tart, sessionable beer begs for hot weather. Summer in Berlin opens up with a refreshing lactic punch that melds beautifully with grassy citrus notes and finishes with a subtle ginger spice. Your new favorite summer beer. Repeat.
ABV 8.0% 85 IBUs - Double IPA - It was all a hop dream. Hazy, sticky, heavy handed on the dry hop, silky smooth, and perfectly balanced. Brewed with oats and wheat and chock full of Mosaic, Citra, Centennial, and Simcoe. Strong flavors and aromas of dried apricots, nectarine, and stone fruit. Extra fresh and brewed not to last, get it while it's here. If you don't know, now you know.
ABV 6.8% 64 IBUs / An aggressively hopped American Style India Pale Ale brewed with Columbus, Simcoe and Amarillo hops. The use of 20% rye gives this ale it's trademark dry and spicy character. It's been voted among the Top 15 Rye Beers in the World on Beer Advocate.
