Dock Street’s Unfiltered and Unpasteurized Beers on Tap Updated 1/27/12 Kolsch ABV 5%, 22 IBU’s This is an easy drinker, make no mistake. We brewed this year with our house ale yeast at cooler than normal temperatures and then lagered it. It starts with a clean, crisp graininess and finishes with a subtle, spicy German hop character. OMG Pale Ale ABV 5.5%, 30 IBU’s OMG! It’s a classically styled American pale ale with Cascade and Colmubus. British Maris Otter pale malts lend this brew a toasty, honey like maltiness and the hops add an bright, crisp hop presence. ABT 6 ABV 5%, 32 IBU’s This abbey style single is inspired by lower gravity beers brewed by the monks for their own consumption. Though somewhat more mellow than it’s bigger, stronger counterparts, this brew is certainly not lacking in flavor. Crisp grainy malt with a bright, spicy, moderately fruity yeast character balanced with plenty of European hops. Heaven in a glass! Rye IPA ABV 6.8%, 64 IBU’s An aggressively hopped American Style Pale Ale brewed with Columbus, Simcoe and Amarillo hops. The use of 20% rye gives this ale a unique dry and spicy character. Man Full of Trouble Porter ABV 6%, 30 IBU’s A nod to the only pre-revolutionary tavern still standing in the city, “Man Full of Trouble,” was one of Colonial Philadelphia’s first watering holes. This London style Porter was brewed with “old-world” in mind. Black and chocolate malts create its deep mahogany appearance and creamy espresso like flavor. A blend of English East Kent Goldings and Fuggles hops lends a delicate earthy presence. Prince Myshkin Russian Imperial Stout ABV 10%, 61 IBU’s Pours deep, opaque, midnight-black with a dense milk chocolate colored head. Flavors are reminiscent of dark fruits, chocolate and wood, making Prince Myshkin’s Stout perfect for dessert, or a dangerously smooth nightcap. Just in time to keep you warm on a cold winter night! Limited.
